Print media was the main source of news for a long time for everyone. Then the Television and Radio was invented which was also another major source of information for a long time. Times Union in Albany started as an outlet for advertising business before it became a major newspaper for producing information to the general public . the mediator
the message
Here consumer influence the message and the mediator playing a central role. With social media consumers constantly send emails to the editors about what they think about a news that was published, they can also comment on the information , this is a big changed. With the social media advertising companies can read people's comment about a product and make necessary changes based on what they read. Social media has allowed people to share information , thus allowing the endless circulation of information.

Isn't it true that news and media do have an agenda? People find the topics and subjects that interest them more and spread that information quite readily. Whereas subjects that people would rather looked away from are promptly kept on the down low unless people demand for it. Take the examples of celebrity and sports stars vs. events of world conflicts. Likely people know more about superstars than the hysteria that happens everyday in third world countries, whatever is on the front page of news spreads. How social media can change that are the parties of people driven for a particular cause and how loud their voices are.
